Dari sebuah kegiatan kecil saya dengan beberapa teman dari LSM perempuan akhirnya saya diajak untuk menghadiri aksi solidaritas terhadap perempuan. Sebenarnya topik perempuan merupakan bahasan yang sangat saya minati dari zaman universitas, namun selama ini saya hanya bersuara lewat bicara dan diskusi yang bukan merupakan forum formal. Dan mungkin salah satu yang cukup dianggap kerja adalah menerima dengan senang hati pekerjaan penerjemahan buku yang berkaitan dengan gender. Dan sekarang saya melakukannya dengan foto, berikut liputan foto saya, Aksi Lilin Untuk Yuyun yang diadakan di Monas tgl 4 Mei 2016.
From a small activity with some friends from women’s NGOs I were invited to attend a solidarity action against women. In fact, when i was at university, the topic of women is a discussion that I care about, but that time I only speak through small chat and discussion, that is not a formal forum. And perhaps one that is sufficiently considered as a work is, gladly, I receive the book translation jobs related to gender. And now I do it with picture, following my photographic coverage for Action Candles For Yuyun held at Monas on May 4, 2016.
Tak lama setelah itu saya mendapat undangan dari Erasmus Huis untuk Event berjudul “Stop Violence with Art” Berupa rangkaian pameran foto dan pertunjukan seni serta Talkshow. Para pegiat seni ini yang diprakarsai oleh Nova Eliza berkumpul untuk menyuarakan isu yang sedang marak sekarang. “Stop Violence with Art”, 60 puluh public figure terlibat dalam proyek Suara Hati ini. Menyuarakan keprihatinan perempuan dengan cara pameran foto yang menampilkan 60 foto portrait perempuan Indonesia termansyur seperti artis, presenter dan bisnis women dengan berpose sebagai korban kekerasan, di sertai pertunjukkan musik dan tarian. Semoga dengan sahut sahutan suara dari perempuan perempuan tangguh ini bisa memunculkan kesadaran yang lebih agar hidup ini terbebas dari kekerasan. bukan hanya kekerasan sexual namun juga kekerasan mental.
Shortly after that I received an invitation from the Erasmus Huis for Event entitled “Stop Violence with Art” as the a series of photo exhibitions, art shows and talk show. Campaigners this art initiated by Nova Eliza gathered to voice the issues that emerging today. “Stop Violence with Art”, 60 public figures involved in the project’s Conscience. Women raised concerns with the way the photo exhibition featuring 60 portraits of women Indonesia such as artists, business presenter and women by posing as victims of violence, accompanied by music and dance performances. We wish the voice can raise awareness and this life free from violence. not only sexual violence but also mental violence.
Almost 300.000 cases of violence against women take place every year in Indonesia. Violence against women is all forms of gender based violence that result in misery or psychological and physical suffering. It’s a global pandemic. The Erasmus Huis organized in cooperation with Suara Hati an exhibition about domestic violence. A number of renowned Indonesian women like actresses, anchorwomen, business women posed as a victim of domestic violence. The opening of the exhibition for the public takes place on May 12th. |
